Mary W. ‘Maggie’ Warner Mallow Tenney

Mary W. "Maggie" Warner Mallow Tenney, 75, a resident of Elkins, passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, in the West Virginia Caring Hospice Center in Elkins.

She was born July 19, 1948, at Hightown, Virginnia, a daughter of the late Emory J. Warner and the late Tena C. Judy Warner.

She was twice married.

First to Donald Neil Mallow, who preceded her in death.

On Aug. 26, 1995, at Glady, West Virginia, she married Charles Junior Tenney, who preceded her in death July 31, 2021.

Surviving are four sons, Michael Mallow and wife, Shelia, of Montrose, West Virginia, David Mallow and wife, Anita, of Cass, West Virginia, and Bryan Mallow and Stephen Mallow, both of Belington, West Virginia.

Five brothers, Emory "Buddy" Warner, Green Bank, West Virginia, Harlan Ray Warner and Eugene Warner, both of Beverly, Stephen Warner of Valley Bend and Kenneth Warner of Elkins; three sisters, Ina Pitsenbarger, Franklin, West Virginia, Linda Cross and Kitty Ball, both of Elkins; five grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Bardon, Richard and Roy "Butch" Warner; and a half-sister, Marie Mae Cobb.

Mrs. Tenney was a homemaker. She formerly attended the Sand Run Baptist Church near Buckhannon, where she lived prior to moving to Elkins.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until noon, Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.

A funeral service will be held at noon Tuesday from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Lockett officiating. A committal service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Judy Cemetery at Circleville, West Virginia.

Interment will follow.
