Ruth Ann ‘Her-Her’ Burner Feather

Born June 19, 1943, in Frank, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Forest Hull Burner and Grace Ellen Heavener Burner.

Ruth was a school bus driver for the Henrico County School system for 50 years. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, and a member of the Tuckahoe Moose Lodge 1163. Ruth was an avid supporter of Central Virginia Slow Pitch Softball and could be found most weekends enjoying yard sales.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Carl “Chick” Feather, daughter, Susan Feather Godwin (Brad), son, Timothy Allen Feather (Wendy); grandchildren, Tyler Godwin (Megan), Chase Godwin (Kristina), Robbie Godwin, Haley Marchetti (Caleb), Hannah Feather Gross (Corey), Bryce Feather; great-grandchildren Colt, Sebastian, Kora, Archer, Cade, Kena, Millie; sister, Patsy Burner Sacks, brother, Wallace “Corkie” Burner (Loretta), and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ruth will be remembered fondly by her friends and family for her good nature and generous spirit.

All those that were fortunate enough to have been a part of her life will miss her bubbly personality and great sense of humor.

The burial will be private.

Celebration of Life details will be announced.
