Boone Ray Finlen, 5-days-old, passed from this life Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024, at WVU Children's Hospital in Morgantown.
Boone was born Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024, a son of Brandon Finlen and Tosha Ott of Cassity.
Also left to cherish his memory are three siblings, Lynlee Ware, Kaiden and Raylee Finlen; grandparents, Timmy and Penny Finlen of Cassity, Robert "Robbie" and Doretha "Tink" Ott of Elkins; great-grandparents, Diane Rucker of Dailey, John Rucker of Beverly, Palma Finlen Brown of Cassity and Denny Ott of Elkins; one aunt, Autumn Finlen of Cassity; one uncle, Brandon Ott of Elkins; and cousins, Beau Finlen, Walker and Gracie Ott.
Preceding him in death were great-grandparents, Ronald Finlen, Robert Ott, Herbert and Nancy Green; and one uncle, Austin Finlen.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, from 11 a.m. until noon. Interment will follow in Zirkle Cemetery Cassity. The Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements for Boone Ray Finlen.
