Debra K. ‘Debbie’ Rowan

Debra K. "Debbie" Rowan, 67, a resident of Coalton, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, at the Davis Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 6, 1956, at Elkins, a daughter of Marie Jackson Teter of Elkins and the late Cuyler M. Teter.

On Jan. 26, 1974, at Elkins, she was married to David R. Rowan, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Jake Rowan and wife, Tammy, of Coalton, and Janson Rowan and fiance, Desiree Croston, of Elkins; three sisters, Linda Woods and husband, John, of Coalton, Terry Broschart and husband, Moe, of Jimtown and Jody Kimble and husband, Roger, of Norton; four grandchildren, Bradley and Hayley Grey, Meshae Rowan and Abbey Lambert, Shala and Bryce Watson and Paige Sharp and Cody Hill; and eight great- grandchildren, Brayden, Sophia, Emmett, Lynnleigh, Ivy, Sophia, Connor and Malachi.

Also preceding her in death was her grandmother, Elvie Jackson.

Debbie was a graduate of Coalton High School and had retired from Walmart. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and Amish country and spending time with her family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, at the Rowan Memorial Cemetery at Mabie.

Rev. Tristen Tenney will officiate and interment will follow.

The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Debra K. "Debbie" Rowan.
