Nancy Marie Cutright Haden

HADEN

Nancy Marie Cutright Haden, 58, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, at her home. She had been in her usual health and death was sudden and unexpected.

Nancy was born Friday, June 4, 1965, in Elkins, a daughter of Cletis D. Cutright and Ruth V. Hammonds Cutright, who survive in Mill Creek.

On Jan. 26, 1985, in Mill Creek, she was married to Marvin Windell "Buddy" Haden, who survives. They had celebrated 39 years of marriage.

Left to cherish Nancy's memory are three children, Eric Haden and wife, Tricia, of Mill Creek, Jason Haden of Elkins, Philip Haden of Pennsylvania, and Amber Haden of Mill Creek; five grandchildren, Justin Haden, Adam Haden, Aaliyah Haden, Isaac Haden and Trenton Haden; one great-grandson, Jasper Haden; three sisters, Mary Cutright of Webster Springs, and Joyce Cutright, and Ruby Cutright, both of Mill Creek; one son, Ricky "Hawk" Hammonds of Mill Creek; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Nancy in death was one son, Zachary Logan Haden; and one sister, Penny Cutright.

Nancy attended the schools of Randolph County. She had worked at Duke's Steakhouse, Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center, Nella's Nursing Home and for the last several years, she was a homemaker taking care of her family.

She was an avid crafter and loved her "ugly socks.”

She loved her family and will be missed by them.

A graveside service will be held at Blue Rock Cemetery on Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, at 11 a.m.

Rev. Randy Long will officiate and interment will follow.

The Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements for Nancy Marie Cutright Haden.
