On Friday, March 22, 2024, Cleo P. Wingfield was called to her heavenly home.
Cleo was born on Sept. 23, 1934, in Upshur County, West Virginia, to the late Luther and Francis Heater.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Gay E. Wingfield; and son, Bruce E. Wingfield.
She was also proceeded in death by five brothers, Gerald, Junior, James "Jack", Harold and Eugene Heater; and three sisters, Genevieve Gregory, Mabel Davis and Shirley Gibson; and one surviving brother, Johnny and wife, Nina Heater, of Vienna, Ohio.
Cleo is survived by two daughters, Vickie Dalenburg and husband, Danny, of Buckhanon, and Judy Haskins and husband, John, of Buckhannon; one son, Chuck R. Winfield of Buckhannon; and one daughter-in-law, Lorrie Wingfield of Greensboro, North Carolina.
Cleo was the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was a homemaker and member of Sago Baptist Church.
Friends will be received Monday, March 25, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
A funeral service will be held Monday 2 p.m., from the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating.
Burial will follow in the Big Bend Cemetery in Sago, West Virginia.
