Jennifer Lynne Dodd

Jennifer Lynne Dodd, 67, of Harman, passed away on March 8, 2024, at Davis Medical Center, surrounded by her family. Born on Nov. 18, 1956, in Elyria, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Arthur "Merk" and Velma E. (Wymer) Cooper.

She was a graduate of Harman High School. She worked at Timberline Ski Resort and was a dedicated homemaker, proud of caring for her husband, son and granddaughter. She attended the Harman Presbyterian Church. Jenny was an amazingly talented artist, painting beautiful artwork on turkey feathers and making driftwood trees. She enjoyed camping, fishing at the lake, and trips to the Outer Banks. She loved spending time with her granddaughter, Mary Jane.

She is survived by her husband, Jonny Dodd, to whom she was married on Oct. 26, 2002; a son, Zeb Dodd; a granddaughter, Mary Jane Dodd; and a grandson, Zayden Dodd; three sisters, Beverly Eye and husband, Robert, Norma Cooper and husband, Harold Thompson, and Rhonda Cooper and companion, Herman Armentrout, all of Harman; a special sister, Charlotte Vance and husband, Tom of Georgia; two nieces, Tisha Mallow and husband, Robbie, of Harman and Leslie Bonner and husband, Jeff, of Dryfork; five great-nephews, Sevren Heavner, Cade Mallow and companion, Alexia Fredell, Trevan Bonner, Braylon Heavner, and Ty Bonner; and two great-nieces, Jessie Heavner and Adalea Bonner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Sherry Cooper and Mitchell Cooper; and her nephew, Brandon Heavner.

Jennifer's request for cremation was honored.

Friends will be received on Monday, March 25, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 7 p.m. with Steve Wymer officiating.
