Karen Jane Oldaker

OLDAKER

Ms. Karen Jane Oldaker, 76, a former resident of Belington and more recently a resident of ERCC, went home to be with the Lord Saturday March 16, 2024, from the care facility. Death was following a lengthy illness.

She was born March 7, 1948, at Belington, a daughter of the late Opha Burl and Virgie Cleona "Tonie" Biller Oldaker.

She had never married.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, a whole host of friends and her church family which she dearly loved.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Carol Radabaugh, Leslie "Pete" Radabaugh and Randel Oldaker.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was a 1966 graduate of the Philip Barbour High School and had formerly worked as an EKG Tech and Respiratory Tech at the Davis Memorial Hospital and the Memorial General Hospital, both in Elkins. She belonged to Light of Christ Chapel in Belington, where she was a very active member. She belonged to the Ladies Fellowship, and absolutely loved to cook for church dinners. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home, 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington, on Tuesday March 19, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jimmie E. Tallman officiating.

Interment will follow in the Lambert Chapel Cemetery near Belington.

Her church family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Light of Christ Ladies Fellowship P.O. Box 603 Belington, WV 26250.
