Lucas Eugene "Luke" Zirkle, 34, a resident of Mabie, passed from life Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in Huntington. He had been in his usual health and death was unexpected.
Luke was born Saturday, June 24, 1989, in Philippi, a son of Russell James Zirkle and the late Kerensa Carlee Baker Zirkle.
Also left to cherish his memory is his only child, Khaleesi; paternal grandparents, Dayton and Geraldine Zirkle; maternal grandmother, Linda England Bennett; three brothers, Joshua Zirkle and wife, Cassie, Tyler Zirkle and Jacob Zirkle; nieces and nephews, Madison, Amerah, Brentley, Mylee, Dexter, Oliver and Carlee; six aunts; three uncles and five step brothers.
Preceding him in death besides his mother was maternal grandfather, Robert Baker.
Luke attended the schools of Randolph County and obtained his GED. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with pride and joy, Khaleesi.
The family's request for cremation was honored.
