Ronald "Ronnie" Crites, 55, a resident of Coalton, passed from this life Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Davis Medical Center in Elkins.
Ronnie was born Tuesday, Nov. 12, 1968, in Morgantown, a son of the late Lenora Mae Leary.
On Jan. 4, 2001, he married the former Nicole Lynn McDonald, who survives at home.
Also left to cherish his memory are three children, MaKayla Crites and companion, Brandon Hedrick, Mackenzie Crites and Tayla Crites; four special nieces and nephews that were like his own; two grandchildren, Madelyn and Brycen Hedrick; eight siblings, Gary, David, George, Penny, Sharon, Angie, Chris and Dorothy; and countless friends.
Preceding him in death besides his mother were four siblings, Seamer "Tom", Pearl, Helen and Barbara.
Ronnie attended the schools of Randolph County and obtained his GED. He enjoyed being outdoors and riding motorcycles, fishing and ginsenging when he was able. He adored his kids and grandchildren and loved spending time with family and friends. Ronnie always helped anyone who needed help. He called himself a jack of all trades; master of none.
Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Friday, March 22, 2024, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Ronnie's request for cremation will then be honored.
