Mr. Terry Lee Pishioner, 64, a resident of Junior, departed this life Sunday afternoon, March 10, 2024, in the Davis Medical Center at Elkins. Death was following a short illness.
He was born May 8, 1959, at Elkins, a son of the late Lewis and Helen Irene Ware Pishioner. He had never married.
Left to cherish his memory is a brother, Marty Pishioner of Junior; a half-brother, Marvin Butch Pishioner; a half-sister, Shirley Percival; one niece, Sosha Marie Biller; and several cousins also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Pishioner.
Terry was a graduate from the schools of Barbour County and attended the Bethel United Methodist Church in Junior.
He was very good to the folks in the Junior Community, especially those who couldn't help themselves. He picked up mail for the city hall in Junior and for Station One and for many folks in the community who needed his help.
In the spring and summer, he would be seen weed eating and mowing for those who needed his assistance. He was a kind soul, who helped many people in the Junior Community. He always waved at everyone that passed him on the road and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington on Wednesday March 13, 2024, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. the funeral hour at which time final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Pastor Lee Williams officiating. Cremation will follow.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Talbott Funeral Home P.O. Box 879 Belington, WV 26250 to help with final expenses.
