Karen "Susie" Kincaid Post, 80, of Buckhannon, West Virginia, died Thursday, April 25, 2024, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia.
She was born Jan. 27, 1944, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Thomas Issac (Tommy) and Glendean L. Zickefoose Miller.
On Feb. 6, 1960, she married Donnie W. Kincaid, who preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 2022.
On Dec. 25, 2023, she married Benny Post, who survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Libby Hoover and husband, Gerry, of Buckhannon; one son, Donnie W. Kincaid Jr. and wife, Connie Sue Atwell, of French Creek, West Virginia; one stepdaughter, Christena Post of Sterling, Virginia; one stepson, Rodney Post of San Francisco, California; two grandsons, Jason Hoover and Caleb Hunter Kincaid, both of French Creek; two granddaughters, Jennifer Cutlip and husband, Derek, of Lost Creek, West Virginia, and Allison Fawn Kincaid of French Creek; one step-grandson, Rylan Davis of Sterling; one great-grandson, Devon Cutlip of Lost Creek; one great-granddaughter, Julianne Cutlip of Lost Creek; one brother, Jonnie L. Miller of Buckhannon; two sisters, Linda M. Gibbons of Manassas, Virginia, and Shirley A. McDaniels and husband, Carl, of Buckhannon; nephew, Danny Miller and wife, Kathy, of Buckhannon; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas E. "Toby" Miller, Richard M. Miller and Patrick "Pat" Miller Sr.
"Susie" was a homemaker and a Christian. She loved to cook and bake for her family.
"Susie" could sit for hours watching QVC.
Friends will be received Monday, April 29, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. on Monday, from the funeral home, with Pam Moore officiating.
Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
