Pamela Lynn Biggs Scott, 60, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Sunday, April 14, 2024, at home surrounded by family and friends and under the care of Mountain Hospice.
Pamela was born Saturday, Nov. 23, 1963, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Leroy Jack and Ruth Margaret Bennett Biggs.
On June 21, 1995, she was married to Milton "Tad" Scott Jr., who survives. They were celebrating nearly 29 years of marriage.
Also left to cherish Pamela's memory are seven children, Chad Biggs of Mill Creek, Stephanie Shaffer and husband, Jeff, of Elkins, Milton Scott III and companion, Jessica Taylor, of Belington, Chelsea Haddix of Philippi, Shae Scott and companion, Josh Burnside, of Mabie, Dustin Scott and companion, Casi Taylor, of Mill Creek, and Dillon Scott of Mill Creek; eight siblings, Dale Biggs and wife, Joyce, Ronnie Biggs, Dorie McLaughlin, Debbie Paugh and husband, Gene, Jimmy Biggs, Gary Biggs, Jerry Biggs and Mitchell Kramer; sixteen grandchildren, Evan Biggs, Avery Shaffer, Branson Taylor, Leighton Taylor, Tailynn Taylor, Adalynn Scott, Lauren Scott, Bentley Taylor, Gage Taylor, Emma Taylor, Milton Scott IV, Jordan Burnside, Callie Burnside, Tanner Burnside, Owen Haddix and Grayson Haddix; a special cousin and caregiver, Tena Bennett; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Pamela in death besides her parents were three brothers, Freddie Biggs, Tommy Cassell and Terry Biggs; and a sister-in-law, Linda Cassell.
Pamela attended the schools of Randolph County and was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, pitching horseshoes, watching Gunsmoke and NASCAR, feeding and watching the birds, and taking care of her plants.
She was a fighter her whole life who fought for herself, her family and especially her kids and grandkids. She loved her family and was a great mother and grandmother not only to her own, but to the friends of her family.
Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Monday, April 22, 2024, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the funeral hour. Rev. Randy Long will officiate, and interment will follow in Mingo Cemetery.
