Beverly Jane Dolly

DOLLY

Ms. Beverly Jane Dolly, 64, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Belington on May 2, 2024.

She was born on April 22, 1960, to the late Betty (Armentrout) and Eugene Dolly.

She graduated from Philip Barbour High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree from West Virginia University and a Master's degree from James Madison University. Beverly was an audiologist who worked in schools in Blacksburg, Virginia, and in Randolph and Barbour counties.

She also worked at Valley Supply and Aegis, Inc. in Elkins for several years. Beverly was a lifelong member of Westside United Methodist Church and belonged to The Order of the Eastern Star.

She had been an active member of the Belington Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion. Beverly helped care for her parents until their deaths and was especially involved in the lives of her niece, nephews and great nieces and nephew. She had lifelong friends with whom she maintained communication. Bev was always giving to others and sent out messages to celebrate special days with family and friends.

Beverly is survived by her brother, Randall Dolly and his wife, Carolyn, of Belington; her sister, Dianne Dolly Foster and her husband, Eugene Foster, of Louisville, Kentucky; nephews, Brandon Dolly and wife, Brittany, of Clendenin, West Virginia, and Benjamin Dolly of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; niece, Nicole Foster Greenwood of Louisville and her children Jaye, Riley and Marshall Greenwood.

She also has an aunt, Kathleen Wilmoth; an uncle, Jack Dolly; and several cousins.

Special friends were Tressa Oxier and Stephanie Davis.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the funeral hour, at which time final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Pastor Bryan Headley officiating.

Interment will then follow in the Fraternal Cemetery near Belington.
