Hayes Andrew Arbogast, 56, a resident of Valley Head, passed from this life May 10, 2024, at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston following a brief illness.
Hayes was born Tuesday, Dec. 5, 1967, in Elkins, a son of Howard Steven Arbogast and Mary Faye Thomas Arbogast.
Left to cherish Hayes' memory are three brothers, George Lee Thomas and wife, Wilma, of Slatyfork, Howard Steven Arbogast Jr. of Valley Head and Estil Arbogast and wife, Penny, of Monterville; one sister, Nancy Louise Dilley of Summersville; his companion, Martha McDonald of Elkins; and several nieces and nephews.
Hayes attended the schools of Randolph County and had worked several jobs before becoming disabled. He enjoyed mechanic work and enjoyed the GNAC races at Snowshoe.
Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Friday, May 17, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the funeral hour.
Interment will follow at Gibson Cemetery in Slatyfork.
