Dottie Taylor Parrack, 71, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Sunday, June 23, 2024, at home surrounded by family and under the care of West Virginia Caring.
Dottie was born Wednesday, July 2, 1952, in Mill Creek, a daughter of the late Howard Taylor and Josephine Shiflett Taylor.
On April 6, 1982, in Beverly, she married Dalton Dale "PeeWee" Parrack, who preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory are four children, Lisa Lou Herron of Belington, Willard "Buck" Herron Jr. and wife, Kandi, of Huttonsville and Randall and Mark Parrack; six grandchildren, Robert and Chad McDonald, Chris, Matt and Samantha Whetzel, Michelle Gear, Donavan Herron and Donna, Marky and RJ Parrack; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Wood of Hopewell, Virginia, Patty Arbogast and husband, Dave, of Beverly, Randy Taylor of Mill Creek, Phil Taylor and Steve Taylor and wife, Laura, all of Huttonsville; and her fur baby companion, Smoky.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband were three children, Dawn Taylor, David and Deborah Parrack; and one great-granddaughter, Miranda Parrack.
Dottie attended the schools of Randolph County. She always had a passion for sewing ; she owned and operated Dottie's Sew and Sew. She really enjoyed relaxing on her porch drinking coffee with her two best friends, Betty and Donna.
Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the funeral hour.
Pastor Frank Stanley will officiate and interment will follow in Mill Creek Cemetery.
