Hollis D. "Butch" Farrar, II, age 60 years, a resident of Huttonsville, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024. in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He was born Dec. 29, 1963, at Buckhannon, West Virginia, a son of Hollis D. Farrar and the late Olive Jean Fincham Farrar. On Feb. 11, 1989, at Huttonsville he was married to Cathy Maureen Williams Farrar, who survives at Huttonsville. Also surviving are three daughters, Brittany Kramer, of Palm Bay, Florida, Megan Deschene, of Beverly, West Virginia, and Heather White of Belington, West Virginia; two sisters, Kendra Arbaugh of Beverly and Kelly Farrar Arbogast of Mill Creek; and three grandchildren, Arainna, Justice and Lennon also survive.
Butch was employed as a pipeline forman for Precision Pipeline prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Union Mission Church.
The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2024, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday from the funeral home chapel with Rev. William "Wink" Lanham officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery at Czar, West Virginia.
