Marvin Windell "Buddy" Haden, 65, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center.
Buddy was born Sunday, Nov. 30, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland, a son of the late Marvin Junior "Junie" Haden and Sandra Louise Wamsley Haden. On Janu. 26, 1985, in Mill Creek, he married the former Nancy Marie Cutright, who preceded him in death Feb. 6, 2024. They had celebrated 39 years of marriage.
Left to cherish Buddy's memory are four children, Eric Haden and wife, Tricia, of Mill Creek, Jason Haden of Elkins, Philip Haden of Pennsylvania, and Amber Haden of Mill Creek; five grandchildren, Justin Haden, Adam Haden, Aaliyah Haden, Isaac Haden and Trenton Haden; one great-grandson, Jasper Haden; five siblings, Debbie Waybright and husband, Terry, of Elkins, Ricky Haden and wife, Tammy, of Beverly, Tim Haden of North Carolina, Greg Haden and wife, Sarah, of Valley Head, and Lisa Wimer and husband, Jerry, of Beverly; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death besides his parents and wife was one son, Zachary Logan Haden.
Buddy enjoyed riding four wheelers and hunting. He especially loved hanging out at deer camp with his sons and brothers.
A graveside service will be held at Blue Rock Cemetery Friday, June 21, 2024, at 11 a.m. Rev. Randy Long will officiate and interment will follow.
The Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements for Marvin Windell "Buddy" Haden.
