Mrs. Carol June Fisher Row, 86, a resident of Junior, West Virginia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday morning July 20, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Oct. 30, 1937, at Lewis County, a daughter of the late George Russell and Vergie Mae Posey Fisher.
On Feb. 27, 1958, she was united in marriage to Milford Leale Row, who preceded her in death on June 25, 1984.
Mrs. Row is survived by one son, Milford “Doug” Row, and his wife, Angie, of Philippi; one daughter, Marsha J. Harris, and husband, Phil, of Junior; and one brother, Ron Fisher and wife, Gwen, of Jane Lew.
Additional survivors include four grandchildren, Zachary Harris, Jessica Wolfe and husband, Gavin, Alfred Isch and Nathan Row.
Several nieces and nephews and a whole host of friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy West and Betty Taylor; and two brothers, Roy Fisher and Jimmy Fisher.
Mrs. Row was a 1956 graduate of the Weston High School in Lewis County and was a homemaker. She was a devoted volunteer with the Heart and Hand Ministries Thrift Store in Belington for an excess of 25 years. She was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church in Junior for many years where she was a very active member. She loved to read, enjoyed spending time with her family, spending time at the family camp and she especially loved going to her grandchildren’s sporting events. She’ll be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home, 56 N Brandenburg Street in Belington, WV 26250, on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. and again on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. from 8 a.m.-1 p.m., the funeral hour, at which time final rites will be conducted from the funeral chapel with Pastor Richard A. Williams officiating.
Interment will follow in the Fraternal Cemetery near Belington, West Virginia.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Hand Ministries, 107 South Main St Philippi, WV 26416.
