Dorinda Darlene Hite Grumbine

Dorinda was born Sunday, Dec. 21, 1952, in Washington, D.C., a daughter of the late William Donald Hite and Charlotte Anne Talbott Hite.

On Sept. 14, 1985, in Silver Springs, Maryland, she married Ronnie A. Grumbine, who survives at home.

Also left to cherish her memory is one grandson, Russell Adam Grumbine; and one niece, Marsha Gibson and partner, Ruth Stansbury.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was her only child, Roger Lee Grumbine; one brother, William Eugene Hite; and one sister, Sandra Kay Gibson and husband, Bobby Gibson.

Dorinda enjoyed crafting such as sewing and crocheting.

Her favorite form of crafting was creating Faberge style eggs. She loved teaching children her craft as well.

Dorinda’s request for cremation was honored.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
