John Lewis Cross
John Lewis Cross, a resident of Elkins, departed this life on July 16, 2024, at the Davis Medical Center in Elkins. Death was unexpected however he had been in declining health over the past couple of years.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, from the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Paul Brady officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman, where presentation of the American Flag will be made by members of the West Virginia National Guard Honor Guard Program.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Randolph County Humane Society, PO Box 785, Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of John.
The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for John L Cross.
