Linda Yvonne Hedrick Carr Canfield
CANFIELD
Linda Yvonne Hedrick Carr Canfield, 77, a resident of the Pheasant Run Community, Kerens, West Virginia, departed her life Thursday evening, July 11, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family and under the care of West Virginia Caring.
She was born Monday, Nov. 11, 1946, at Shavers Fork, Parsons, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Lindsey Warren Carr and Gertrude Marie Hedrick Carr.
On October 25, 1963, at Oakland, Maryland, she was married to Charles Lee Canfield, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Eddie Canfield and fiance, Tonia, of Fresno, Ohio, and Vincent Canfield and wife, Tonya, of Bedford, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Sheila Faye Lipscomb and husband, Keith, of St. George; two brothers, Terry Carr of Ohio and Dale Hedrick and wife, Frances, of Rivesville, West Virginia; three sisters, Bonita Yeager and Susie Rohr, both of Parsons, West Virginia, and Beverly “Bev” Simmons of Barberton, Ohio; and many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are brothers, Tom Carr, Artie Dale Carr, Michael Carr, infant brother Johnny Hedrick, Hubert Hedrick, Chester Hedrick, Bert Hedrick and Blair Hedrick; three sisters, Otta Sue Ashby, Annis Dell Combs and Mary Johanna Nelson; and a granddaughter, Ashley Lynnette Lipscomb.
She was a graduate of Parsons High School with the Class of 1964.
She was a housekeeper and a caregiver for the elderly. She was a member of Irons Chapel Church. She enjoyed going to yard sales and auctions, canning, refinishing furniture and watching westerns. Linda truly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons, West Virginia, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Final rites will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 11 a.m.
The Rev. Justin Jones will officiate and interment will follow at the Kalar Cemetery at Shavers Fork, West Virginia.
