David Lee Hull

David Lee Hull, 53, a resident of St. George, West Virginia, departed this life Wednesday evening, Sept. 18, 2024, at his home.

He was born Tuesday, Sept. 29, 1970, at Elkins, West Virginia, a son of the late William Thomas “Bill” Hull and Goldie Jean Thrasher Evans of Maryland.

Also surviving are one brother, Johnny Bill Hull and wife, Tamara, of Terra Alta; two sisters, Ellen Johnson and husband, Dave, of Benbush and Donna Wilt of Kingwood; cousin, Evelyn Stout and husband, Warren, of Philippi; and loyal cousin and primary caregiver, Ray Sines of St. George; and various caregivers throughout the years who helped with David’s care; also surviving are several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of Tucker County High School with the class of 1989, where he was very active and enjoyed working on automobiles, riding motorcycles and playing football and basketball. He was very kind and willing to help anybody. He had worked in the Saw Shop for Tucker Valley Home and Garden, Shop N Save, and Asplundh Co. until his injury in October of 1993. Later in life he enjoyed listening to music, watching westerns and working on his computer. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and WVU Fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering for Mark Martin. He had a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons, West Virginia, on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Final rites will be conducted from the funeral home on Tuesday at 1 p.m.

Pastor Lowell Moore will officiate and interment will follow at the Shaffertown Cemetery on Leadmine Road, St. George, West Virginia.
