The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Final Rites will be conducted from the funeral home, Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, at 1 p.m.
The Rev. Dr. Ken Shiflet will officiate and interment will follow at the Maplewood Cemetery at Elkins, West Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dessie Nelson may be made to WV Caring, P.O. Box 760 Arthurdale, WV 26520 of the Randolph County Humane Society, P.O. Box 785, Elkins, WV 26241.
