Franklin D. Quattro

Born on the family farm in Belington, West Virginia, in 1937 to the late Ralph and Eva Hollenbach Quattro. Attended Water Camp School and graduated Belington High School in 1954. Worked on the family farm and in the timber industry before moving to Baltimore, Maryland, in 1957.

Served military obligations in 1959 and was honorably discharged.

He was employed at a metal container company for 41 years where he received several awards and promotions for dedicated service, workmanship, and artistry. He retired in 1998.

Married Betty Rautzhan Quattro in 1968, bought a farm in Hampstead, Maryland, where he spent 31 years raising a family, hunting, gardening, and raising and racing thoroughbred horses. He also enjoyed all genres of music from classical to bluegrass and attending numerous concerts and festivals.

He met Susan Tucker Taber in 2006 and moved to Lost River. There he spent 16 years enjoying retirement and spending time with his grandson Aiden Blahut.

Franklin was proceeded in death by his parents and seven siblings, Louis Quattro, Lawarence Quattro, Cosmos Quattro, George Quattro, Mary Salafia, Angela King and Eleanor Lapacik; and former wife, Betty Routzhan Quattro.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Allison Quattro Blahut; son-in-law, Kevin Blahut; grandson, Aiden Blahut of Sykesville Maryland; his partner, Susan Tucker Taber of Lost River; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no funeral services. Interment private.
