Louise C. “Lou Lou” Day, 86, of Buckhannon, West Virginia, died Tuesday, Sept. 10 , 2024, at the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown, West Virginia.
She was born April 13, 1938, in Staten Island, New York, a daughter of the late Earl and Cecilia Scherb.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell V. “Chub” Day; one son, Kenneth E. Day; and one sister, Linda.
Surviving are three sons, Russel W. Day and wife, Dorsey, of Fairmont, West Virginia, and David B. and Mitchell A. Day, both of Buckhannon; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home.
In honoring her wishes, Mrs. Day will be cremated after the viewing.
