Vicki Lynn Canfield, 65 years, a resident of Norton, passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia.
She was born May 28, 1959, at Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of the late William L. Pingley and Lovada Harlan Pingley.
On Sept. 24, 1988, at Montrose, she was married to Harold L. Canfield, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Ryan Canfield of Norton and fiance, Taylor Maynard; one brother, William "Bill" Pingley and wife, Shirley, of Struthers, Ohio; two nieces, Megan Pingley and fiance, Jimmy, and Tara Rohrbaugh and husband, Mike; and her "grand dog," Lucy.
Vicki was a graduate of Coalton High School and had retired from the United States Postal Service where she worked as a post master relief. She loved camping, karaoke and spending time with family and friends.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, from the funeral home chapel with Pastor John Welch officiating.
Interment will follow in the Phillips Cemetery at Jimtown, West Virginia.
