Alva French Knotts, 89, a native of the Sugarlands Community, Tucker County, West Virginia, departed this life Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 5, 2024, at Brookdale Deer Creek at Sarasota, Florida, with his loving family at his side. He had been in declining health for the past year and critical for the past month.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday. Final Rites will be conducted at the funeral home, Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, at 11 a.m. The Reverend James Snyder will officiate and interment will follow at the Parsons City Cemetery at Parsons, West Virginia.
The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Alva French Knotts.
