Blair Russell Louk Sr.

Blair Russell Louk Sr., 89, a resident of Valley Bend, passed from this life Sunday, Nov. 10, 2024, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Blair was born on Thursday, Feb. 14, 1935, in Mill Creek, a son of the late Frank C. Louk and Lucy Pudder Louk. On July 13, 1954, he was married to Patricia Keiper, who survives. They had celebrated 70 years of marriage.

Also surviving are three children, Blair Russell Louk Jr. and wife, Lori, of Beverly, Robert Louk of Elkins, and Denise Kimmel and husband, John, of York, Pennsylvania, two sisters, Ina Gear of Huttonsville, and Shirley Reigle of Finksberg, Maryland, seven grandchildren, Steven Louk, Jennifer Kimmel, John Kimmel, Emily Louk, Allison Louk, Brooke Louk and Alexandra Louk-Parker, four great-grandchildren, Cameron Louk Shaiden Louk, Mason Louk, and Ford Kimmel; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Blair was preceded in death by a son, Steven Louk; a grandson, Gilbert Louk; five sisters, Alice Howell, Laurie Nelson, Vada Johnson, Roxy Louk and Neva Swecker; two brothers, Junior Louk and Kenneth Louk; and a sister-in-law, Ann Louk.

Blair attended the schools of Randolph County. In his early years, he had worked as a logger. He retired after thirty years of service from Continental Can Company as an auxiliary maintainer. He enjoyed hunting and restoring old cars. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Services are private. The Randolph Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Blair Russell Louk Sr.
