Gerald ‘Jerry’ Arnold Cunningham

Gerald "Jerry" Arnold Cunningham, 83, a resident of Beverly passed from this life Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon.

Jerry was born Dec. 7, 1940, in Rootstown, Ohio, a son of the late Arnold Cunningham and Fern Garrett Cunningham. He was married to the former Linda Louise Wamsley, who survives.

Also left to cherish Jerry's memory are three sons, Jerry Cunningham Jr. and wife, Melissa, of Conneaut, Ohio, Vincent Cunningham of Oklahoma, and Scott Cunningham of Beverly; one sister, Carol Cunningham of Ravenna, Ohio; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Melody Kopac-Cunningham; and one sister-in-law, Alice Cunningham

Preceding Jerry in death besides his parents was one brother, Joe Cunningham

Jerry attended the schools of Ohio and had some technical training over the years. He had worked as machinist for Rockwell International Brake Plant. He had also spent time selling automobiles, at which he was very good.

From an early age, he spent time on the golf course as a caddy and then enjoyed playing golf over the years. This was something he learned from his father. He was an avid Cleveland fan both for the Browns and the Indians.

Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Monday, Nov. 18, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Jerry's request for cremation will then be honored.

The Randolph Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Gerald Arnold Cunningham.
