Carolyn Ann Phillips, 70, a resident of Belington, passed away Saturday Dec. 21, 2024 at her residence.
Carolyn was born March 12, 1954, in Elkins, West Virginia, a daughter of Charles Edgar and Dovie Marie (Everson) Anderson. Carolyn was twice married first to William "Bobby" King and second to her husband of 26 years Jerry W. Phillips.
Carolyn enjoyed gardening and helping anyone in need. She assisted at Heart and Hand, and with Jerry West Basketball. Carolyn served as president of the Belington Little League and was owner and operator of Hometown Care.
Also surviving is her children, William King II and wife, Heather, Kacy King; step-children, Cheryl Hawkins, Brandy Phillips and companion, Doug Rucker, JP Phillips and companion, Patty Wolfe; grandchildren, William King III, expected granddaughter, Stella King, and Wyatt Cross; step-grandchildren, Jayden Bailey, Adam Bailey, Waylon and Silas Morgan, Courtney Suggs and husband, Colby, JW Hawkins, Caleb Hawkins, Jed Hawkins, Caden Hawkins and Trey Corley; several great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Carpenter; and brothers, Mike Anderson and wife, Debbie, Brad Anderson and wife, Judy.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dovie Anderson.
Services will be held at a later date.
