Charlene Taylor Bowers, 69, a resident of Eaton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, in the Hospice of Dayton, Ohio.
She was born, March 12, 1955, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Alvin Parker Hogan and the late Waneta Irene Shreve Hogan.
She was married to John Bowers, who survives in Eaton, Ohio.
Also surviving are two sons, William Orville Taylor III of Eaton, Ohio, and Kevin Scott Taylor of Greenville, North Carolina.
One daughter, Jennifer Rochelle Cross, Eaton, Ohio; one brother, Michael Eugene Hogan, Millington, Maryland; a sister, Lois Marie Frazee of Bruceton Mills, West Virginia; four grandsons and one granddaughter also survive.
Charlene attended the schools of Pocahontas County and was a homemaker.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 12, from the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Tim Edin officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hevener Cemetery at Monterville, West Virginia.
