Denny Lee Cutright Sr.
CUTRIGHT
Denny Lee Cutright, Sr., 72, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, at his home. He had been in his usual health and death was unexpected.
Denny was born Friday, Oct. 10, 1952, in Mill Creek, a son of the late Cecil Cutright and Marjorie Currence Cutright.
Left to cherish Denny’s memory is one son, Denny Lee Cutright Jr. and wife, Crystal, of Mill Creek; three siblings, Gary Cutright and wife, Sada, Lorraine Schoonover and Cletus Cutright and wife, Ruth, all of Mill Creek; two grandchildren, Lane H. Cutright and Halee L. Cutright; several nieces and nephews; and his fiance and best friend, Maxine Metz.
Preceding Denny in death besides his parents was one infant daughter, Lisa Cutright; and four siblings, Hartford Cutright, Gladys Pritt, Deloris Vance and Beatrice White.
Denny attended the schools of Randolph County and had worked as a coal miner and a logger. He enjoyed working in his vegetable garden and canning. He also enjoyed yard-saling. One of his favorite pastimes was tinkering on anything from small engines to small electronics, and even a cuckoo clock. Spending time visiting with friends and family was another thing he enjoyed. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Denny’s request for cremation will be honored with no services.
