Emily Grace Lambruno

LAMBRUNO

Emily Grace Lambruno, 83, of Thomas, passed away peacefully on Dec. 13, 2024, at Cortland Acres.

Born on Dec. 15, 1940, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Blondie William and Florence (Waltz) Phillips.

Emily was a graduate of Mountaineer High School, and kept the classmate connections strong as the High School Reunion organizer. She was well known in the community from her job as office manager at the Mountain Top Health Clinic, where she worked for many years until her retirement. She remained very active in the community as a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Auxiliary, a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, the St. Thomas Aquinas Women's Society, and was very involved decorating the church for every holiday and volunteering for various activities with the church. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and playing games on her kindle. She particularly loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Emily was such a caring, kind hearted person, and her loving smile will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her children, Steve Lambruno and wife, Joyce, of Kentucky, Anthony "Tony" Lambruno and wife, Nena, of Thomas, Nickolas Lambruno and wife, Kelly, of Morgantown, Christopher Lambruno of Thomas and Annette Kiger and husband, Brian, of Morgantown; grandchildren, Steve and wife, Dani, Adam and wife, RheaAnn, Devan, Alena, Kaden, Connor and Jackson Lambruno, and Austin Kiger; and great-grandchildren, Hayden, Rece and Nora Lambruno.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Raymond "Jack" Lambruno; one grandson, Matthew Loupie Lambruno; and siblings, William Phillips, Thomas Phillips, Anna Shaffer, Mary Jane Ponikvar, Donald Phillips and Sally Touchette.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m., with Rosary held at 6:30 p.m., at the Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home, 567 Thomas Ave., Davis.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, at 11 a.m. from the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, with Father Martin Smay officiating.
