Kalob Malik Baumgardner

He was born Aug. 14, 2003 at Fayetteville, North Carolina, a son of Rachael Jo Baumgardner, who survives in Belington

In addition to his mother, left to cherish his memory are two sisters, Lydia Baumgardner and Fiona Atitso of Belington; uncle, Terry Baumgardner and wife, Cheryl, of Milton, West Virginia, his companion, Rylee Louk of Belington; and his K-9 companion, Daisy.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Linda Baumgardner.

Kalob attended the schools of Barbour County and was currently employed by Arch Coal Leer South Mining in Philippi. He was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed riding his side by side. He loved to hunt, his diesel truck and his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He loved spending time with his grandfather, Ralph, helping in all the functions with the American Legion Post 96 of Belington. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington on Tuesday Dec. 31, 2024 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again, on Wednesday Jan. 1, 2025, from 8 a.m. to noon, the funeral hour at which time final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Pastor Johnny Paul Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Lambert Chapel Cemetery near Belington.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Talbott Funeral Home P.O. Box 879 Belington WV. 26250 to help with final expenses.
