Richard Lee Bright, 77, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at home.
Richard was born Saturday, Jan. 11, 1947, in Elkins, a son of the late Harvey Lewis Bright and Myrtle Louise Gibson Bright.
Left to cherish Richard's memory three steps-sons, Elmer Nicholas "Nick" Delphey, Richard Emory "Richie" Delphey and Michael Paul "Mike" Delphey; one sister-in-law, Joann Bright; one nephew, Thomas J. Bright; and one niece, Lisa Chis.
Richard was preceded in death by one son, Michael lee Bright; and one brother, Thomas Lewis Bright.
Richard attended the schools of Randolph County. He had worked as a heavy equipment operator for the City of Elkins for 25 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping.
Richard's request for cremation was honored.
The Randolph Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Richard Lee Bright.
