Timothy Wade "Tim" White, 50, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, at Mon General Hospital in Morgantown surrounded by his family. He had been in his usual health and death was unexpected.
Tim was born Thursday, April 18, 1974, in Elkins, a son of the late James D. "Pap" White Sr. and Charlene Hedrick White.
On July 14, 2012, he was united in marriage to the former Stephanie Dawn Price, who survives. They had celebrated 12 years of marriage.
Also left to cherish Tim's memory are two daughters, Samantha Kyle and Victoria Cheuvront and husband, Alex, all of Elkins; a brother, Clayton Brett White of Elkins; two sisters, Bertha "Sis" White of Elkins and Donna Martin of North Carolina; a nephew, Alan White and wife, Abi; a great niece, Roxie; his mother and father-in-law, Lea Price and Larry Nelson; a brother-in-law, Zeke Price and wife, Amy, all of Elkins; and two special friends, Roger Paxton and Jimmy Halterman.
Preceding Tim in death besides his parents was one brother, James Donald "Donnie" White Jr.; and one sister, Mary Jo White.
Tim was a graduate of Elkins High School with the class of 1992 and upon graduation went on to LPN school at the Randolph County Vo-Tech. He had worked at Swisher's and for many years at Advance Auto. He was an avid hunter, who also enjoyed fishing, yard selling, tinkering with antique automobiles, his guinea pigs, his special companions Shadow and Bea, his bearded dragon, Izzy, and going on wild adventures with Stephanie. He was very proud of killing his first bear this year. He loved his family and spending time with them.
A visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, from noon until 2 p.m., the funeral hour.
Pastor Shannon Houghton will officiate, and the family's request for cremation will follow.
