Ms. Traci Lynn Haney, 51, a resident of Philippi, West Virginia, departed this life Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, at her home.
She was born Dec. 26, 1972, at Elkins, West Virginia, a daughter of Jerry L. and Nancy B. (Kines) Haney.
In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory are one sister, Amy Baker and husband, Vic, of Morgantown; niece, Gabrielle Baker and nephew Zackary Baker, both of Morgantown.
Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Douglas and Reta Haney; and maternal grandparents, Don and Opal Kines; and one infant brother.
Traci was deeply loved by her family, and she loved them all very much. She also loved to travel with her family and was very adamant about exercising. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A private family visitation will be held at the Talbott Funeral Home Chapel, 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington, on Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m., at which time she will be moved to Fraternal Cemetery near Belington for a public graveside service with the Rev. Jimmie E. Tallman officiating.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Mountain Hospice in Belington 1002 S. Crim Ave, Belington, WV 26250.
The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Ms. Traci Lynn Haney.
