Patricia Sue ‘Patty’ Ware

Patricia Sue “Patty” Ware, 76, a resident of Mill Creek, and a patient in the Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, in the Davis Medical Center.

She was born May 12, 1948, at Mill Creek, a daughter of the late Glenn William Kyle Sr. and the late Blanche Edith Gear Kyle.

On April 14, 1968, at Glenville, West Virginia, she was married to Harold Lee Ware Sr., who preceded her in death August 21, 2019.

Surviving is one son, Harold Ware Jr., Petersburg, West Virginia; and one daughter, Michelle Cottle and husband, Eddie, of Mill Creek.

One brother, Robert Kyle and wife, Sandy, of Mill Creek; one grandchild, Andrew Plymale; one great-grandchild, Lukas Plymale; a special niece that was like her own, Tosca Kyle; and many other special nieces and nephews as well as sisters-in-law, Barbara Kyle and Patricia “Patsy” Kyle also survive.

Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Rev. Eddie Kyle and Glenn William “Benny” Kyle.

Patty attended the schools of Randolph County and was employed as a Nursing Assistant for many years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the AARP and previously attended the Memorial Mission Church at Mill Creek.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until noon, Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.

A funeral service will be held at noon Monday, from the funeral home chapel, with Rev. David Bower officiating.

Interment will follow in the Brick Church Cemetery at Huttonsville.
