Patsy Glorius Poling Lyons

She was born Friday, Oct. 28, 1938, at Thornton, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Ottis Poling and Anna Rosier Poling. She was married to William Leroy Lyons, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are one daughter, Destiny Miller and companion, Tristan Bishop of Harman; one sister, Bobbie L. Farley of Elkins; one granddaughter, Oakley Bishop, one on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are one infant son, Bradley; and three sisters, Hazel Knotts, Pam McNear and Hester Nelson.

She attended the schools of Thornton and Grafton High School, and had worked for several restaurants in the Valley Falls area. She attended the Clarksburg Beauty Academy and operated a beauty parlor at her home for many years. She previously attended the Beverly United Methodist Church.

Patsy loved animals, especially her two dogs, Bam Bam and Peanu;t and her cats, Timmy, Binky and Kitten. She was always staying busy and especially enjoyed sewing and gardening.

A Private Graveside Service will be conducted at the Woodsdale Cemetery at Grafton, West Virginia.
