Louis N. ‘Lou’ Pierantoni
PIERANTONI
Louis N. “Lou” Pierantoni, 89, a resident of Harman, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
Lou loved the Lord and he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He was born Oct. 4, 1935, in New York, New York, a son of the late Charles Pierantoni and Mary Pierantoni.
On Oct. 9, 1954 at New York, New York, he was married to Arlene Eshleman, who survives. They celebrated 70 of marriage in 2024.
Also surviving are one son, Steven L. Pierantoni (Yvette) of Bowling Green, Kentucky; one daughter, Judy M. Bucher (Dan) of Harman, West Virginia; four grandchildren, Luke Bucher (Trish), Jason Bucher (Jeanette), Henry Pierantoni and Claire Pierantoni; and seven great grandchildren.
Two brothers, Ronald Pierantoni of Rockingham, Virginia, and Gary Pierantoni of Long Island, New York; one sister, Marsha Vogt of New City, New York; as well as many nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, William and David Pierantoni; and two sisters, Charlotte Benowitz and Stephanie Beck.
After 38 years, Lou retired from Triangle Publications where he had worked as a pressman for Seventeen Magazine. He loved camping, hiking, playing games, whistling and playing the harmonica. He always had a sense of humor and will be greatly missed, but we know he is happy in Heaven in the arms of Jesus. He was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church in Elkins.
Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m., Monday, March 31, 2025, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, from the funeral home chapel, with Dr. Ken Shiflet officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lanesville Bethel Church Cemetery at Lanesville, West Virginia.
