Mr. Thomas P. "Tom" Romine, 74, a resident of Elkins, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025, in the West Virginia Caring Inpatient Hospice Unit in Elkins.
He was born Jan. 9, 1951 at Clarksburg, West Virginia, a son of the late Roy Guy Romine Jr. and the late Mary June Payne Romine.
On June 27, 1980, at Pocatalico, West Virginia, he married Brenda Corbin Romine, who survives in Elkins.
Also surviving is his furbaby, Abby; two sisters; one niece; five nephews; 10 great-nieces and nephews; one great-great-niece; two great-great-nephews; five "special nieces;" and rounding out the family with two "special granddaughters."
Tom was an educator having retired from the Boone County, West Virginia, Board of Education.
He enjoyed the outdoors and classic rock music and was a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church in Elkins.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the Elkins Memorial Gardens. Father James E. O'Connor will preside and interment will follow.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army in memory of Tom.
