Carolyn Sue Nelson Dumire

She was born Dec. 7, 1951, at Petersburg, West Virginia, a daughter of the late “Johnnie” W. Nelson and the late Leota Agnes Raines Nelson.

On Aug. 15, 1981, she married William Paul “Bill” Dumire, who survives in Coalton.

Also surviving is one daughter, Kimberly Susan Dumire Collins and husband, Aaron, of Coalton; her dog, Annie, who she loved completely; one aunt and several cousins.

Carolyn was a graduate of Elkins High School with the Class of 1969. She was employed as a Retail Associate at the G.C. Murphy Store in Elkins for several years. She was a member of the Kynette United Methodist Church.

Carolyn’s request for cremation will be honored.

Inurnment of her cremains will take place at a later date in the North Fork Memorial Cemetery near Riverton, West Virginia.
