Cinderella ‘Cindy’ Jean Talbott
Mrs. Cinderella “Cindy” Jean Talbott, 88, a resident of the Talbott Community near Belington, departed this life Friday, April 11, 2025, at her home. Death was following a period of declining health.
She was born April 23, 1936 a daughter of the late Ruth and Charlie Howser.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Charles Bruce Durrett of Belington, West Virginia, and Donald Scott Durrett of Springfield, Missouri; and five grandchildren, Jessica Dawn Durrett of Dayton, Ohio, Shelia Talbott of Belington, Junior Talbott, Michael Talbott and Terry Talbott, all of Elkins.
Additional survivors include four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Don Durrett; and her second husband, Earl Bradford “Bant” Talbott.
Cindy attended the schools of Randolph County and was a graduate of the Elkins High School with the class of 1954. She was a homemaker all of her life and she was a longtime member of the First Church of Christ in Elkins, West Virginia. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home, 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at which time Mrs. Cinderella “Cindy” Jean Talbott will be moved to the Talbott Cemetery near Belington for a graveside burial.
