Franklin Steven King
Franklin Steven King, 73, a resident of Parsons, West Virginia, departed this life early Tuesday morning, April 1, 2025, at Cortland Acres at Thomas, West Virginia. He had been in declining health.
He was born Saturday, Dec. 29, 1951, at Parsons, West Virginia, a son of the late James Robert and Lena Gertrude Pitzer King. He had never married.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Preceding him in death are two brothers, James Russell King and Robert Lee “Hopsing” King; and one sister, Kathryn Gertrude “Katie” King Mason.
He was a graduate of Parsons High School with the class of 1974.
A Graveside Service will be conducted Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Parsons City Cemetery at Parsons, West Virginia. Inurnment will follow.
