Joyce Lou (White) Trail

She was born July 25, 1950, the daughter of the late Emerson White and Nettie (Summerfield) White of Alpena, West Virginia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Woodward Trail Jr, 5/29/2024; sisters, Velma Dolly, Barbara Hinchman; and brothers, Emerson White Jr., Ronald White and Willard White.

She is survived by one son, Woodward Ray Trail and wife, Shelly, of Kingwood West Virginia; one daughter, Wendy Thompson of Elkins West Virginia; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita Williams of Pomona, Kansas, and Emma Cannon of Frostburg Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.

Joyce grew up working with her father in the SawMill he owned and operated. She loved to ride horses, needle point, crochet, cook and bake. She was a very kind, giving, caring, loving Woman of God. She loved her family and friends.

She was cremated at Randolph Funeral Home in Valley Bend West Virginia.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
