Philip ‘Phil’ Andrew Brooks

Phil was born Monday, Aug. 3, 1942, in Kent, Ohio, a son of Harold Gould Brooks and Irene Margaret Marks Brooks.

He married the former Margaret Ann Miller, who survives at home.

Also left to cherish his memory are three children, Philip Brooks Jr., Christine Brooks and Richard “Rick” Poots; and several grandchildren.

Phil had been employed as an electrician at Smither Oasis. He enjoyed wood working, making furniture and tinkering with computers and small engines.

A visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 11 a.m. until noon, the funeral hour.

Phil’s request for cremation will then be honored.

The Randolph Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Philip Andrew Brooks.
