AnnaBelle White Spencer

AnnaBelle White Spencer, 73, a resident of Norton, passed from this life Saturday, May 3, 2025, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.

AnnaBelle was born Thursday, Oct. 11, 1951, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Silmer Nathan White and Bessie Lucinda Mae Lambert White. On Aug. 12, 1972, in Elkins, she married Gary Wayne Spencer, who survives at home.

Also left to cherish her memory are two children, Sophia Lynn Spencer of Norton and Eric Wayne Spencer and wife, Melissa, of Elkins; six grandchildren, Justin White, Sierra Whitehair, Katelin Cooper, Blayden, Shilyn and Zaylen Spencer; six great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jaxson, Paige, Jonah, Karley and Adele; five siblings, Nancy Jones and husband, Jack, of Coalton, Sherry Hines and husband, Jim, of Elkins, Nathan J. White of Montrose, Joseph White and wife, Marie, of Jimtown, James K. White and wife, Mary, of Elkins, and the love of her life, her spoiled goldendoodle, Maxwell Allen Spencer.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was one son, Jeffrey Allen White; one great-granddaughter, Isabella Whitehair; and one sister, Rosalee Scott.

AnnaBelle attended the schools of Randolph County and had been employed as a housekeeper at Nella’s Nursing Home. She enjoyed flower gardening. The more flowers she could plant for Gary to trim around, the happier she was. She loved attending church and listened to Gospel music all the time. AnnaBelle adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; they were her world.

Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Wednesday, May 7, from 6 until 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 1 p.m. Pastor John Welch will officiate and interment will follow in the American Legion’s Little Arlington Cemetery in Cravensdale.
