Regina (Gina) Staud Palomo
PALOMO
With deep sorrow and profound love, we announce the passing of a saintly woman, Gina Palomo, on June 1, 2025.
Born in the quiet beauty of Valley Bend, West Virginia, she lived a life of grace, devotion, and unwavering kindness.
She was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Nellie Staud and is now reunited with them in eternal peace.
She was also preceded in death by her dear sisters, Rita, Joan, Kathryn and Donna, whose memories she cherished deeply.
She is lovingly remembered by her surviving siblings, Tom and Chris Staud, who will forever hold her memory close.
Gina was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, Joe Palomo. Their love was a true partnership, grounded in faith and mutual respect. She was the proud and caring mother of Jamie Wall and his wife, Sofia, and a kind and generous stepmother to Jason Palomo and his wife, Adena Burger, and to Gabriel Palomo and his wife, Ju Palomo. Her life was further blessed by her cherished grandchildren, Valentina, Dov, Mylene, Maya, Sebastian and Isabella–each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
Gina was a dedicated federal civil servant for many years, having served at FBI Headquarters in Washington D.C., during a formative time in our nation’s history. Later in her career, she served at White Sands Missile Range where she met and married her husband, Joe Palomo. Gina and Joe both retired from White Sands after commuting together for many years and settled in their home in West El Paso.
A woman of deep faith, Gina was devoted to her church and served her community with humility, compassion and a servant’s heart.
Her gentle spirit, wisdom, and warmth touched all who knew her, and her legacy will live on in the lives she nurtured and inspired. Her family rejoices in the assurance that she has entered into eternal rest, held in the arms of her Savior.
Services will be held in El Paso, Texas, June 13, 2025. May her soul rest in peace and may her memory be a blessing.
