Timothy J. ‘Bunji’ Elmore

								ELMORE
Timothy J. “Bunji” Elmore, beloved father, grandfather and friend, passed from this life Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the age of 61.
His gentle spirit, generous heart and infectious laughter left a significant mark on all who knew him.
Born on July 24, 1963, in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of the late James Lee “Big Jim” Elmore and Sumiko Izumi Elmore.
Bunji was a man of many talents and unwavering kindness. He was an avid hunter and lover of animals, but it was his love for those around him that truly defined him. He loved DJing, hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle and could often be found with his grandson, Carter, and dog, Buddy, every Sunday at the Home of the Soul Church in Dailey, West Virginia. His ability to make others laugh brought comfort to countless friends and family members.
Above all, Bunji cherished his family. He was a devoted father who always found time to lend an ear, share his wisdom, and offer unwavering support. His children will forever remember his late-night bond fires where he’d share stories from his youth and dreams for their future.
Though he is no longer with us, his memory will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched.
Left to carry on his legacy are his wife, Tammy Elmore; two children, Timothy Elmore Jr., Christopher Elmore and wife, Hailey; two grandchildren, Carter and Kingston Elmore; brothers and sisters, Danney Elmore, David Elmore, Brenda Volentir, Michael Elmore and wife, Lisa, James Elmore and wife, Crystal, Peggy Phillips and husband, Junior, who will carry forward his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness. Rest in power, Dad. Your love and laughter will forever echo in our hearts.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., Friday, June 6, 2025, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.
